Tips to safe Internet and e-mail use

• Never access the Mazuma Credit Union Web site by clicking on a link provided in an e-mail. Mazuma Credit Union will never solicit you to provide or update personal or financial information. And, will never send an e-mail containing links to Web sites.

• You should only access the Mazuma Web site typing www.mazuma.org into your Web browser address bar.
• Don’t open e-mails or e-mail attachments from someone you don’t know.
• Never reply to e-mails requesting personal information, such as your Social Security Number, financial account numbers and passwords.
• Update your operating system (Microsoft, Apple Computer) and Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) with the latest versions, and download free security software from their official Web sites.
